But Really, We are Joe & Tahiry…
Yes we can say that these two are a mess and they need to get it together,
however how relatable is Love & Hip Hops Joe Budden and Tahiry Jose’s
situation? A situation that was once a relationship that got messy and public
and for whatever reason in this seasons last episode of #LHH they are trying
to make it work. We have all had that someone that we couldn’t shake.
From a woman’s stand point, for some of us getting over that one can be difficult.
The factors being time spent, that person being a comfort zone and the hurt of
course of the split with unresolved issues can be trying. In a lot of ways getting
over it is easier said then done. We can most definitely see that on screen as
Tahiry’s reaction to Joe and their 5-year relationship and break up plays out.
But someway somehow they can’t seem to let go of each other because through
the negative there is a past, a comfort and a friendship.
We as viewers can pass judgment but honestly we’ve been there. Even down to
Joe making an effort to move onto yet another girlfriend, Kaylin. It still doesn’t
take away from his need for Tahiry. As messy as it may seem, current girlfriend
vs “That Old Girlfriend” (the one who got away maybe?) –in real life the battle
between past and present always plays out. Unfortunately someone’s going to get
hurt. All in all these things are the lessons in love. So can we say they need to get
over it and move on? Yes. But we all know its not always that simple. Maybe this
spin on Joe & Tahiry’s relationship is for TV or maybe there really is a connection
and the show has brought them back together. Either way we see this everyday,
the point is can it work or can you put in the work to see it through? Only time
can tell for those two as well as us regular folks over here.
Love & Hip Hop Season 2 Supertrailer
Let the ratchetness ensue! If last season of LHHA was any indication
that producer Mona Scott Young got a good bunch on her hands then
this season will definitely have everyone glued to the screen!
There will be more antics from the Stevie J love triangle. The self
proclaimed baddest bitch Joeseline will be back, but I think everyone
is aware she’s riding this bus all the way. Mimi has a new boyfriend,
Niko, and for her sake lets hope it will switch up the foolery between
her and Stevie.
The fights will be the highlights this season of course. Mama Dee and
Ericka will have it out as per usual, down to blows though? This will be
messy! Rasheeda and this anger towards K. Michelle still is dragging
the story line. Why they’ve brought back Rasheeda and Kurt is beyond
me. However this season will introduce two new cast members Atlanta’s
Dj Traci Steele from 107.9 radio station and Chavonte Che’ Mack,
Stevie J’s tattered “protege.” Let the craziness return to a new high.
Love and Hip Hop Season 2 will air April 22 at 8pm on VH1.
Bobby Kristina & Family Do Reality Show
Didn’t see this one coming! The Houston family along with Bobby
Kristina are doing their reality show for Lifetime ‘The Houstons: On
Our Own.” Not seven months after the late Whitney Houston’s passing,
the family embark on a journey with dealing with the aftermath and
focusing on Bobby Kristina her career, being the sole heir to Whitney’s
estate as well as her very interesting personal life with god brother turned
fiancé. The show which airs on October 24th will feature the lives of Whitney’s
brother Gary Houston, sister-in-law/manager/guardian of BK, Pat Houston,
her daughter Rayah, mom Cissy Houston as well as BK’s boo Nick Gordon.
Well here is a sneak peak below- I must say thus far it seems interesting to
say the least. Who will be watching?
Evelyn Lozada’s First Interview with ABC
Considering that I am three days behind covering this story, in my defense
as much of a fan of Evelyn Lozada as I was, I didn’t want to hear her side
of the story at first. I felt this is Kim & Kris all over again. These reality
stars taking the sanctity of Love and Marriage and making a pure mockery
of it for ratings disgusts me! However finally taking the time to watch the
interview I began to feel like Evelyn is learning from her ways and change is
definitely evident here. I totally understand her not wanting to continue
her marriage with Chad ‘Ocho Cinco’ Johnson as well and you can see the
hurt she’s going through. In her defense of the media spiral and people said
she deserved what she got, she compared it to that of rape victim -I definitely
sympathize here. Nobody deserves to be abused in any form. See Evelyn’s
interview below, weigh in.
