Considering that I am three days behind covering this story, in my defense

as much of a fan of Evelyn Lozada as I was, I didn’t want to hear her side

of the story at first. I felt this is Kim & Kris all over again. These reality

stars taking the sanctity of Love and Marriage and making a pure mockery

of it for ratings disgusts me! However finally taking the time to watch the

interview I began to feel like Evelyn is learning from her ways and change is

definitely evident here. I totally understand her not wanting to continue

her marriage with Chad ‘Ocho Cinco’ Johnson as well and you can see the

hurt she’s going through. In her defense of the media spiral and people said

she deserved what she got, she compared it to that of rape victim -I definitely

sympathize here. Nobody deserves to be abused in any form. See Evelyn’s

Welp Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson have it a little worse then Kim & Kris.

Six weeks after their July 4th nuptials and with the very public domestic violence

charges, Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce in Florida yesterday. This comes after

being head budded by Chad over a receipt for a condom purchase that Lozada

found.

Evelyn put out a statement stating:

It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement

addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday.

I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his

actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he

seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not

okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to

break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for

the outpouring of support during this difficult time.

To add insult to injury Chad ‘Ocho Cinco’ Johnson got released by the Miami Dolphins.

Talk about when it rains it pours. But truthfully I rooted for the two, be it that they

are both attention seeking, there ‘celebrity’ helped one another equally even adding

to their reality  show  Eve & Ocho , which VH-1 pulled due to the domestic violence back

lash. It just shows that the sanctity of marriage in the ‘Reality TV’ world is null and void.

Everyone is doing this for appearances and when the ish hits the fan they file for

divorce.

I can understand Evelyn not wanting to deal with Chad after the fact and its due to her

‘celebrity.’ Sadly had they not been celebrities, Chad & Evelyn would have worked it out,

but thats just my opinion. Domestic Violence most definitely should not be taken lightly,

just hope for these two they get it together because right now ya’ll look a mess.

And so the plot thickens! If you loved the drama filled first 2 seasons of

Love & Hip-Hop well your in luck because LHH comes to the A. In true ATL

fashion the drama will unfold literally ten fold! This season the new comers

are hometown Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, singer K. Michelle, up and coming

Trinidadian singer Karliee Redd, Mimi Faust, long time girlfriend of award

winning producer Stevie J.

The drama is already clear when it comes to up and coming Latina rapper,

Joseline, Stevie J’s protegee and seems to be a little more then that, ya’ll be

the judge. Lastly another ATL staple name if at that rapper Lil Scrappy’s long

time girlfriend Erica Dixon is another cast mate right along with his mom

‘Mama Dee.’ Check out what  this interesting and feisty cast has to offer to

reality tv, Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta airs on VH1 on June 18th at 8pm.

Well it’s apparent that Jay Z can’t possibly LIVE! Last week the Brooklyn Nets

unveiled their new jersey and team colors as their new stadium the Barclay Center

in Brooklyn is almost at completion. A fabulous feat with Jay Z as a backer and

marketer of the team.  Phil Mushnick, a veteran sports writer for the New York

Post and long time critic of Jay Z’s involvement with the Nets team had cute racial

commentary that may have his ass in the hot seat.

Mushnick went on to say:

As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots –

what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to

stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have

him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?

Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N——s?

The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo?

A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be

Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!

To think we live in 2012, where we have a black president and we are above it.

However we’re not, Jay Z can’t live, he can’t be a drug dealer, turned rapper,

turned multi-millonaire, mogul ranking in business deals and endeavors, even

covering Forbes with Warren Buffet. Nope just a n-gga and critics will always

blast his past, instead of what he has achieved here now and in the future.

The media as well as twitter has been in uproar since Mushnick’s comments.

Maybe Mushnick felt as though his vet status over at the Post wouldn’t hinder

or make a sprinkle, but guess what everyone is watching in the tech age.

So I assume The New York Post should be issuing his pink slip in 5 4 3 2…
